Founded in 1990 by a group of young scholars, HRD Degree and PG College has carded the niche for it self in the educational map of Osmania University true to its name, the very aim of its promoters is to explore the talents of its students by expanding the horizons of education, keeping up breast trend in vogue. The college is justly proud of its study growth in last 18 years, a no mean achievement in the mids of competition in the private sector.

Initially started with B.Sc, B.Com, the management in a view to achieving to perfect blend of tradition and modernity, introduced the course structure, combinations of mathematics, Science, Statistics, with the latest subjects like Electronics, Bio-Technology, Bio-Chemistry, Micro-Biology, and computer Science. A Highly committed band of teachers selected by a team of professors deputed by the university and well equipped laboratories strictly confirming the university norms and spacious and well ventilated lecture halls or some of the silent features of the college. Special encouragement is given to commerece faculty by providing separate and convenient accommodation in Block – II and suitable timings to to facilitate the student to seek additional academic persuits. During the leasure hours, foundation course for CS, CA, ICWA Exams are available.

The college provides ample opportunities for its students to display their skills in sports decides encouraging them to participate in other curricular activities like quiz, elocutions essay writing light music etc at the college, inter college and statelevel.

Adding to its academic achievements of the college introduced M.Sc. (Computer Science), M.Com. Courses seven years ago. One year P.G.Diplomacourses offered by the college. M.Sc.(Electronics) first batch started in 2003. M.Sc.(Physics), M.Sc.(Mathematics)were introduced in 2005.
